What Is Silicone Oil?
Silicone oil is a synthetic fluid based on organosilicon polymers, with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) being one of the most widely used silicone fluid chemistries.
Its unique silicon–oxygen molecular structure provides excellent thermal stability, low surface tension, hydrophobic behavior and good resistance to oxidation.
